DESCRIPTION:You are cordially invited to virtually attend this year's State of the University address\, to be presented by UA President Pat Pitney on March 11\, 2024. A livestream of the address will be available beginning at 12:00 p.m. at www.alaska.edu/pres/sou. President Pitney will be delivering the address as the keynote speaker during the Anchorage Chamber of Commerce's "Make-It-Monday" Forum. President Pitney's address will provide an update on the important role the University of Alaska system has in the state's economic recovery and in building Alaska's workforce\; the contributions of UA's world-class research\; and highlight excellence across the university system. All members of the greater UA community are encouraged to tune into the livestream of the address. Following the event\, the recorded video will be available on that same page.
