Fairbanks Arts invites K-12 students enrolled in a Fairbanks North Star Borough School District-affiliated institution to submit one piece of artwork to Up With Art\, a student art exhibition to be displayed during the month of March in the Bear Gallery for National Youth Art Month.
\n\nThe deadline to register artwork online is Wednesday\, February 22\, by 5 p.m. AKST.
\n\nAll submissions must be registered online by this deadline in order to be included in the exhibition. There is no cost to enter artwork. Only one piece of submitted artwork will be accepted per student. The artwork may be made at home or in school.
\n\nArt is key to a complete education and is a powerful vehicle for expression\, exploration\, and skill-building &ndash\; submitted works of art can be about (nearly) anything. Community judges will name awardees for Kindergarten-8th grade in varying categories\, and guest artist judges will name awardees for 9th-12th grade in multiple catagories.
