SUMMARY:Fairbanks Arts Literary Reading with Third-Year UAF MFA Writers
DESCRIPTION:Fairbanks Arts is delighted to welcome third-year graduate students from the UAF MFA program who will share their works of fiction\, non-fiction\, screenplays\, and poetry in the April literary reading taking place in the Bear Gallery.  \n\nThis free event will start at 7:00 p.m. in the Bear Gallery.\n\nCade Yongue will be reading from Homeostasis and Other Plays\, a collection of stage plays that explore themes of identity\, choice\, and family.\n\nAaron Salzman will be reading from a piece about the importance of trying your best despite feelings of failure and how failure is the first step toward success.\n\nKJ Janeschek will read poes from their thesis\, titled Line Your Pocket with Stones\, centered on identity\, touch\, nature\, and the end of the world.\n\nJane will read from her essay-screenplay hybrid nonfiction work.\n\nCourtney Skaggs will be reading from their works of creative nonfiction that capture the surreal\, dreamy aspects of daily lived experience on the page.\n\nThis event is free and open to the public.
