DESCRIPTION:Join Fairbanks Arts in the Bear Gallery for our November exhibition\, Books As Art 3 by the Northwoods Book Arts Guild. \n \n\nNorthwoods Book Arts Guild is a community of artists actively learning about and creating artist books in Fairbanks\, Alaska. Books As Art 3 showcases a wide array of handcrafted artist books and exemplifies the creativity and imagination of Guild members. The book forms in the exhibition may be editioned or unique\, sculptural or traditionally bound\, interactive or passive.\n \n\nCoinciding with Books As Art 3\, the Northwoods Book Arts Guild will offer handmade books for sale as the Gift Shop Artist of the Month in the Bear Gallery gift shop.\n \n\nIn addition to the exhibition\, there will be a virtual opening evening and a 10 year anniversary event livestreamed on Fairbanks Arts Facebook page. Please visit our website for more information.\n \n\nBooks As Art 3 is on view in the Bear Gallery from November 5 27\, 2021. The Bear Gallery is open Monday Saturday\, 12 6 pm. Visitors are required to wear a mask and practice social distancing.
