DESCRIPTION:Invitation to Attend\n\n\n\nThis October\, the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation is hosting four regional events to \n\ncelebrate National Disability Employment Awareness Month. These invitation-only celebrations will \n\nbe held virtually in Juneau\, Fairbanks\, the Mat-Su Valley\, and Anchorage during the lunch hour.  We \n\nwill be recognizing national\, state\, and local employers who have demonstrated the highest \n\ncommitment to hiring people with disabilities and have worked closely with the Division of \n\nVocational Rehabilitation this past year.  You may attend as many events as you like by using the \n\nlinks below.\n\n\n\nHelp us highlight these important businesses and show our appreciation for their efforts! This will \n\nalso demonstrate to potential future business partners the benefits of working with DVR to employ \n\nAlaskans with disabilities such as job matching\, increased retention\, and increased employee \n\nmorale.\n\n\n\nBONUS: Both Congressman Don Young and DOLWD Commissioner Dr. Tamika Ledbetter will be attending on \n\nOctober 29th.
