Join Fairbanks Arts in the Exhibit Hall for a professional development workshop with 64th Parallel Juror Jenny Day. Jenny will discuss strategies to foster professional relationships\, gain representation\, ship artwork\, and apply for art opportunities. This conversation will include a hands-on workshop that focuses on improving participant'\;s artist statements bio\, resumes\, and artist websites. Open to all career levels\, from emerging to professional level artists. Please come with rough drafts and questions. Attendees are required to wear masks and to pre-register on our website\; registration is open to the first 20 individuals. \;
\n \;\n\nIn addition to the workshop\, Jenny Day will also be presenting an artist talk on Monday\, September 27 at 7 pm in the Exhibit Hall.
\n \;\n\n64th Parallel is on view in the Bear Gallery from October 1&ndash\;28\, 2021. The gallery will be open from 12&ndash\;7 pm on Friday\, October 1 for the opening day. For the rest of the month\, join us Monday&ndash\;Saturday\, 12&ndash\;6 pm. Visitors are required to wear a mask and practice social distancing\, and the gallery currently has a 15-guest limit in place.
