DESCRIPTION:Please join us for the Arctic Research Open House on Thursday\, May 18\, from 4-7 p.m. on the University of Alaska Fairbanks Troth Yeddha' campus. This annual event is hosted by UAF's Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research.\n\n \n\nCome stroll across the West Ridge of campus to visit over a dozen UAF groups and colleges showcasing how our work reaches "Around the World in Arctic Ways." This year's theme says it all! Each stop will explore ways UAF research brings value to our global community\, starting right here in Fairbanks.\n\n \n\nThe activities will be fun for all ages\,  interactive\, and bring you face-to-face with researchers in physical\, biological\, and social science. To celebrate Fairbanks families and a successful school year\, the UAF Vice Chancellor for Research will host an ice cream social as one of the stops along the open house.\n\n \n\nThe event is free and attendees who park on the West Ridge of campus will not be cited. Look for signs!
