The U.S. Secretary of Transportation just announced that the Alaska Center for Unmanned Aircraft Systems Integration at the University of Alaska Fairbanks was selected to lead one of the eight new Federal Aviation Administration 'Beyond' sites.  Through Beyond\, ACUASI\, with support from the FAA\, is leading an effort to develop the technology\, policies\, and procedures required to conduct safe and routine medical supply deliveries\, air cargo transport\, and pipeline monitoring operations using unmanned aircraft in Interior Alaska.   \n\n\n\n\n\nPowered by
