2012 KUAC TV?s AlaskaOne Poster Signing Event

Celebrate and support KUAC TV’s AlaskaOne public television during the Spring Fundraiser at the 29th annual Poster Signing event, held March 3^rd from noon-4pm at Well Street Art Co. This year, KUAC’s poster features “Berry Toss,” by Fairbanks artist Ken Whitten, and is a thank-you gift for donors who support the mission of public broadcasting in Alaska during this annual fundraiser which runs March 3-18, 2012.

The featured art was selected by a panel of artists and experts after an open call for art. This charming photograph of a Bohemian Waxwing was chosen from over 70 submissions from more than two dozen artists throughout the state. The poster signing event gives donors the opportunity to pledge early, and meet the artist. Whitten will personally sign posters at a reception on Saturday, March 3^rd from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Well Street Art Co., at 1304 Well Street, corner of Well and Good off Phillips Field Road in Fairbanks.
