5th Annual Walk A Mile In Her Shoes Fairbanks

Please join us for our 2018 Fairbanks Walk A Mile In Her Shoes event. Walk a Mile in Her Shoes® asks men to walk one mile in women's high-heeled shoes. It's not easy walking in these shoes, but it’s fun and it gets the community discussing something that's difficult to talk about: gender based sexual violence. Proceeds from this event support IAC's services and programs which are vital in ensuring safety for many in our community including our Prevention Program which aims to stop violence before it has ever happened. Everyone is welcome to join in this playful opportunity to raise awareness about gender based sexual violence in our community.
