Alaska Unmanned Aircraft Systems Interest Group meeting

University, state, local and corporate leaders are set to speak at 2015 Alaska Unmanned Aircraft System Interest Group Meeting, to be held Sept. 1-3, at the Westmark Fairbanks Hotel.

Sen. Pete Kelly, co-chair of the Alaska Senate Finance Committee is the keynote speaker on Sept. 1. The day, which has an Arctic theme, will bring officials from the Arctic Slope Regional Corporation, Pogo Mine, UAF, federal agencies and others. The day ends with a Networking Reception at the Fountainhead Antique Auto Museum.

Sen. John Coghill, Majority Leader of the Alaska State Legislature, is the keynote speaker for Sept. 2, which has a technical theme. Rep. Steve Thompson, co-chair of Alaska House Finance Committee is the keynote speaker on Sept. 3, which has a policy theme.
