Alaska Workers' Compensation Board Work Group - PUBLIC MEETING

Since 2004, Alaska has had the highest workers' compensation premium rates in the nation.  You are invited to attend a Public Meeting to identify and discuss cost drivers and propose possible statutory and/or regulatory solutions to lower Alaska's workers' compensation premium rates.

The public meeting will be an "open house" format where individuals can stop by at their convenience anytime between 11am and 4pm.  In addition, the public can participate telephonically by calling 1-800-315-6338, pin code 04558#.

During the first hour of each meeting Workers' Compensation Director, Michael Monagle will be presenting an overview of Alaska workers' compensation system cost drivers.
