Apprentice Artist Audition Registration Open

APPRENTICE ARTIST AUDITIONS FEBRUARY 8, 2019 - REGISTRATION CLOSES FEBRUARY 1, 2019

Apprentice Artist Auditions will be held on Friday, February 8, 2019 beginning at 7:30 p.m.

Open to voice students over age 16 at the preprofessional to early professional level.  Auditionees must be available from June 24 - July 14, 2019.

Apprentice artists receive free admission to Opera Fairbanks workshops and master classes, one-on-one coaching/consulting with guest artists, participate in season performances, and receive $400 tuition paid directly to the summer music program of their choice.  A maximum of four (4) will be selected.

Auditionees should come prepared with two arias in contrasting styles that best represent their voice.  Auditions will be video recorded for review by Maestro Buchalter.  An accompanist will be provided.  Auditions are not open to observation by family, friends, or members of the public.  Auditionees must provide 2 copies of their headshot, music resume, repertoire list, and 350-word bio at the time of the audition.
