Arctic Winter Games (AWG) Organizing Committee Community Welcome at the Big Dip

Fairbanks is seeking to be the host for the 2014 Arctic Winter Games and the AWG International Committee site selection committee is visiting Fairbanks January 11-14, 2011.  To win their hearts and show that Fairbanks welcomes the chance to host the games in 2014, we are staging a community welcome at the Big Dipper on  Wednesday, January 12, 2011.  Doors open at 4:30 pm . We anticipate the delegation arriving at 6pm to a cheering crowd.  There will be giveaways (including two round trip tickets on ERA Aviation), music, Youth Hockey Exhibition Games, food and great fun.
