Asian American and Pacific Island Heritage Month Observance
The 16th Combat Aviation will host the 2010 Asian American and Pacific Island Heritage Month Observance May 6th from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at Fort Wainwright?s Physical Fitness Center.
The Fort Wainwright and neighboring communities are invited to come celebrate Asian American and Pacific Island Heritage Month with a guest speaker and live entertainment on Thursday, May 6th, at 10:30 a.m. at Fort Wainwright?s Physical Fitness Center.
Ms. Chisato Murakami, Japanese Language instructor at the University of Alaska Fairbanks, is expected to appear as the guest speaker and discuss this year?s theme, ?Diverse Leadership for a Diverse Workforce.?

The event is free and open to the public. Civilians wishing to attend must stop at the visitors? center at the main gate with driver?s license, registration and proof of insurance.
