Chena Riverwalk

Register at the Carlson Center and take a shuttle to the Morris Thompson Cultural & Visitor Center to walk along the two mile stretch of Riverwalk or for younger participants, enjoy a shorter “kiddy-loop” (1/2 mile). Enjoy activity and educational booths along the way. Over 20 local organizations with activities and booths. FREE lunch at the Carlson Center for all who finish. This event is for kid’s ages 2 -12 years and their guardians. The purpose of this event is to highlight the value of the Chena as a living watershed while creating synergies for like-minded organizations. This event providesan opportunity to get outside and enjoy your local watershed, while strengthening families, boosting creativity, promoting health and wellness.
