Christian Thought Forum

One of the foremost scholars on the New Testament manuscripts will be speaking in Fairbanks on Friday, Oct. 17, and Sat., Oct. 18. Dr. Daniel B. Wallace is the executive director of the Center for the Study of New Testament Manuscripts. He will speak on the reliability of the manuscripts. Dr. Wallace has publicly debated leading critics of Christianity, including Bart Ehrman. Dr. Kenneth Berding, from Talbot School of Theology in Southern California, will also be speaking about the crisis of biblical illiteracy. They'll both be at the annual Christian Thought Forum, held at Bethel Church on Farmers Loop Road. This event provides a rare opportunity to bring Christian scholars to the Alaskan interior.
