Join Fairbanks Arts Association and Creative Capital for this professional development opportunity led by Strategic Planning Team Leader, Colleen Keegan and Creative Capital Awardee and Strategic Planning Co-leader, Hasan Elahi. Participants will learn key business and management skills and hear first-hand from artists how these tools can be used to break the crisis management cycle and achieve success—as they define it.
Creative Capital supports innovative and adventurous artists across the country through funding, counsel and career development services. Creative Capital created the Professional Development Program (PDP) to share with the broader arts community the tools and methods developed to help its grantees manage the business side of their art with greater efficiency and results. Through workshops led by Creative Capital grantees and other arts professionals, PDP teaches artists about self-management, strategic planning, fundraising, verbal communication, promotion and maximizing online capabilities to help them expand their skills and build more sustainable practices.
