DOT OPEN HOUSE-Steese/Johansen Traffic Improvements

DOT&PF is working on a draft Traffic Study and we want your input. Our ideas include new pedestrian facilities, signalized intersections, roundabouts, a continuous flow intersection, interchanges, flyovers, turn lanes, road extensions, railroad crossings, Old Steese Highway realignment, and a one-way circulation route. The goal of this project is to relieve congestion and improve safety in the rapidly developing commercial area in northeast Fairbanks.
