Electronics Recycling Depot

Interior Alaska Green Star’s Electronics Recycling Depot will be open to collect your old and unwanted electronics for recycling on the third weekend of every month – Friday and Saturday.  Collections are held at the Alaska Waste Recycling Center – located at 3050 Phillips Field Road, west of Peger Road.  The next collection will be on October 14^th  and 15^th, from 10am to 4pm both days.  Fees will be charged for some items to cover the costs of recycling and hazardous waste disposal.  Businesses with large loads are welcome; if items are palletized and will require a forklift for unloading, you will need to come on Friday before 3pm - please call ahead if possible so we will know when to expect you.  More information about this and other recycling programs can be found at www.iagreenstar.org, or contact us at info@iagreenstar.org or 452-4152.  The Electronics Recycling Depot is sponsored in part by Design Alaska.
