FAA First Friday Opening Reception: John Hagen, Photographer and Northern Portra

John Hagen is a Haines, Alaska based fine art photographer. He is a life long artist who studied photojournalism at University of Alaska Fairbanks and earned his BFA in New Media Arts from the Institute of American Indian Arts in Santa Fe, NM. Northern Portraiture is an open exhibition of portraits (self-portraits or otherwise) with artists encouraged to explore the history, implications, and alternate interpretations of portraiture as a genre.
