In 2006 Pogo was preparing for production. They’d worked for years on exploration, environmental studies, permitting, and construction. They were ready to mine and produce gold. January 12 marks the ten year anniversary of the first ore to the mill at Pogo and February 12 will be the tenth anniversary of their first gold pour. Pogo is proud to have ten years of operations under their belt; Pogo has come a long way.
