Fairbanks Chamber Weekly Business Luncheon: Family Friendly Workplace Awards
The Early Childhood Development Commission recognizes local employers who help their employees balance work and family responsibilities.
Family friendly workplaces are employers who recognize the importance of parents spending time with their children. The kids benefit because they have that important time with their parents. The parents benefit because they don’t feel the pressure of balancing home and work.
The employers benefit because their employees are happier… a loyalty is built. It reduces turnover and employee absences and these parents are more productive.
All nominees receive a nomination certificate and door decal.
The awards are given to several categories listed below:
Public sector, 1-25 employees
Public sector, 25 plus employees
Non-Profit category, 1 to 25 employees
Non-profit, 25 plus employees
Company/business, 1- 25 employees
