First Friday Art Show: Russian Alaska w/ Vladimir Zhikhartsev

Special First Friday exhibition at Hoarfrost Distilling: "Russian Alaska" celebrates the 150-year anniversary of the Purchase of Alaska from Russia in 1867. Vladimir Zhikhartsev’s collection of watercolor paintings present the beauty of Alaska nature and Russian history in Alaska's oldest coastal towns. Vladimir is a well-known professional artist who has had numerous exhibitions in Russia and around Alaska, won many Awards, and received a 2008 Rasmuson Foundation Artist Fellowship grant. We are honored to have Mr. Zhikhartsev’s paintings at Hoarfrost Distilling. Please join us for celebrating multicultural history of Alaska on August 4 from 3-8, and enjoy our signature vodka cocktails. Traditional Russian decorations, food, and Russian dance and music performance (7 PM) will add authentic spirit to the evening! (Under 21 welcome with parent/guardian.)
