The Division of Geological and Geophysical Surveys is the State of Alaska's geological survey. Part of the Division's mandate is to evaluate Alaskan land for its potential to produce minerals, metals and fuels. I will present the Division's recent and ongoing investigations and activities to promote mineral and energy exploration and development around the state. Activities such as the Strategic and Critial Minerals project and investigations into oil and gas potential in Cook Inlet, the North Slope, and the Nenana and Susitna basins.
