Members of the Interior Delegation will provide a legislative update from the most recent sessions as well as discuss the challenges and opportunities for the State of Alaska. 

5 Minute Spotlight:
Watersheds provide ecosystem services and holds great value to the North Star Borough. However, public involvement is a necessity for successful implementation and projects undertaken by the Borough. Thus, the task of hosting a CAP/WRAP workshop was fitting to the work Tanana Valley Watershed Association continues to do in its efforts to educate and obtain community input on a healthy watershed. It is important to note that water bodies cross political and geographic boundaries, at many scales, that make collaboration and participation very important among both public, private and government representatives.
