GML: University of Alaska's Future
The newly appointed University of Alaska System President Jim Johnsen will update the chamber on his vision and priorities for UA and some of his early observations as he has transferred from acting president to president. He will touch on the current and upcoming fiscal challenges that are facing UA and the distinctive roles and areas of excellence each of our three universities will have to play in the future.
Mike Powers will talk about transferring from the role of UA regent to that of interim chancellor and share what he will work to accomplish during this interim period.
