The Army is considering moving up to 5,811 soldiers and Army civilians from Ft Wainwright. The Army estimates with spouses and children, the total move would equal half the population of the City of Fairbanks: an estimated 14,633 people! Where will you be if the proposed action happens? How much different will life be in the Fairbanks North Star Borough?
At the luncheon, attendees will receive information that may be helpful to those that wish to provide public comment at the listening session later in the evening.
