KUAC 2013 Poster Signing Event

KUAC’s Poster Signing Event for our 30th edition on March 2, noon-4pm

 

Fairbanks photo artist Tom Payer created “Ford Dump Truck,” chosen for KUAC TV’s 30th edition of its poster and featuring a vintage vehicle with its Alaska license plate.  Mark your calendar for Saturday, March 2nd and stop by Well Street Art Company,  noon-4pm, to support KUAC TV and get your limited-edition poster personally signed by the artist. 
 

Well Street Art Company, in Fairbanks, is located at 1304 Well Street off Phillips Field Road. 
 

 

KUAC’s volunteer selection committee of artists and art experts chose this intriguing image from over 100 pieces submitted by 40 artists during this year’s open call for art. Committee members were:  UA Museum Fine Arts curator Mareca Guthrie, watercolor/multimedia artist Carol Wilbur, art appraiser Jinx Whitaker, Fairbanks Art Association director June Rogers, sculptor/UAF Art professor Da-ka-xeen Mehner,  UAF Rasmuson Library graphic designer Dixon Jones, and 2012 poster artist Ken Whitten.
