Positive Picketing for Educators!

Show educators that our community supports teaching and learning. All ages are welcome. Positive Picketing signs will be provided and participants may bring their own signs. This year's theme is "Happy Campers".

In 2018 Sandi Ryan described the experience: “At our new school year kickoff, we were welcomed by members of our community. Those of us that have a few years in the district are accustomed to this wonderful tradition, but one new-to-Fairbanks educator said to me, “I have worked for many districts around this country and never, I mean NEVER have I seen such a fantastic welcome with smiles, high-fives, hugs, and excitement.”
