Prospector Monument Dedication Ceremony
The Pioneers and general public are welcome to the exciting unveiling and dedication of the new Prospector Monument by the Fairbanks Igloos of the Pioneers of Alaska, that commemorates the historical significance of the prospectors who discovered gold and developed the Fairbanks Mining District. This event falls on the 115th anniversary of the discovery of gold here in Fairbanks.
