Purple Heart City Ceremony

The City of Fairbanks wishes to publicly recognize and honor the sacrifices
of the men and women who have been awarded the Purple Heart Medal while
serving in the Armed Forces of the United States. The City of Fairbanks
proudly proclaims Fairbanks as a Purple Heart City to honor the service and
sacrifice of our men and women in uniform, wounded or killed in armed
conflict, while serving to protect the freedoms enjoyed by all Americans.
