The Alaska Railroad invites everyone to the 2015 ?Railroad Days? open house 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 9, at the Fairbanks Depot, 1745 Johansen Expressway. A family-friendly favorite, this community event features train rides, railroad equipment on display, live music by the 9th Army Ensemble Band, balloons, kids tattoos, giveaways and gadgets, a prize drawing ? all FREE! Climb aboard the stationary Alaska Travel Train to discover ideas for exploring the state?s railbelt communities and attractions this year.
