Selecting a Legal Business Form
Participants will learn the basic steps and requirements to form a Limited Liability Company and incorporating in the State of Alaska. This workshop will include discussions relating to Limited Liability Companies and C & S Corporations, including the pros and cons of each as compared to other business types.
These non-credit workshops are given through the Alaska Small Business Development Center (SBDC). No grades are given in these workshops
and they do not appear on your UAF academic record (transcripts). You must register for these workshops online at www.aksbdc.org
or by calling the Alaska SBDC Great North office at 456-7232 or 800 478-1701. The Great North office is located at TVC, 604 Barnette Street in Room 220. The SBDC program is partially funded by the U.S. Small Business Administration.

There is a 48 hour cancellation policy. To receive a full refund you must cancel your registration within two business days of the event. No refunds will be given after this date. To help you in the event of unavoidable, last minute cancellations, all registrations can be transferred to the next class, or a class of equal dollar value. All registrations are transferable to another person upon your request.
