Streambank Restoration Workshop

Stable vegetated banks benefit the landowners and visitors by preventing land loss, providing natural beauty, and promoting a healthy environment for sustainable fish and wildlife populations. Fairbanks Soil and Water Conservation District (FSWCD) is partnering with USFWS to host its biannual Streambank Restoration Workshop. This FREE workshop is hosted at the FSWCD office, located at: 590 University Avenue, Suite #2, Fairbanks, AK 99709. Along with presentations on streambank restoration, we will also make site visits to participating landowners. Starting at 10:00a.m. (coffee and doughnuts provided) there will be presentations from USFWS and FSWCD representatives with site visits to follow (bring your own lunch). **FUNDING AVAILABLE** Please RSVP to Jim Barry (907)479-1213 ext. 107
