Understanding Simplified Acquisitions

Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) apply to federal procurement requirements under $100,000. What are these procedures, and how do they affect you? Come learn how to decipher simplified acquisition procedures for supplies and services. Discussion will cover the various aspects of a SAP solicitation - bid schedule, scope of work, evaluation, and FAR clauses - as posted on the Federal Business Opportunities (http://fbo.gov) website. This workshop is recommended for small businesses registered in the Central Contractors Registry (CCR) and a basic understanding of government contracting.

This workshop is offered as a free service of PTAC Alaska. Pre-registration is required. Space is limited to the first 15 registrants, with a minimum attendance of 5 or the workshop may be cancelled. To insure your space is reserved and training materials are available, we encourage you to sign-up early by visiting the eCenter website at http://akptac.eCentDirect.com/conferences.action.
