Up-cycled Art First Friday

There will be an Up-cycled Art Sale at The Alaska Club (747 Old Richardson Hwy) this Friday, December 2nd from 5 pm – 9 pm. This First Friday event will feature artists who use up-cycled or repurposed materials in their work. This work includes holiday items, wall art, sculptures, jewelry, lamps, and a newly invented magnetic tool/utensil holder. The up-cycled artwork is available for purchase and a percentage of the proceeds will benefit Green Star of Interior Alaska. Green Star is a local nonprofit that encourages and enables our community to reduce waste and increase recycling. Come check out these artists' work and take care of some holiday shopping while you’re there!
