Visitor Industry Local Government Candidate Forum

The Fairbanks Chapter of the Alaska Travel Industry Association and Explore Fairbanks invite the public to attend the Visitor Industry Local Government Candidate Forum on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 from 11:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at La Quinta Inn and Suites, 4920 Dale Road, Fairbanks. Lunch is $15 person. There is no cost for interested citizens who opt to attend and not eat lunch. All attendees must RSVP by registering on-line at www.explorefairbanks.com/candidateforum. Representatives from the visitor industry will talk about the successes, challenges, and opportunities that they face. Candidates will be invited to ask questions from these industry representatives as well as answer questions posed to them. Candidates for Fairbanks North Star Borough Assembly, Fairbanks and North Pole city councils are expected to participate. The forum’s emcee is Kory Eberhardt, second-generation owner of a Taste of Alaska Lodge, who serves as Chair of the Explore Fairbanks Board of Directors and an elected member of the ATIA board.
