Whole Farm Planning Series

A collaboration between the Folk School and Calypso Farm and Ecology Center (4 month series)

This is a 20-week course focused on farm planning from a practical and holistic perspective.  Throughout the course, students will develop a complete farm plan – including creating a mission statement, identifying core values, developing a farm budget (start up and operating), creating a crop plan, developing a marketing plan, exploring branding, creating a logo and more!  Students will be welcome to work on a farm plan for a real farm site or can get just as much out of the course by working on a “pretend” farm.  All experience levels are welcome! Space is limited!
