Winter Solstice Soirée - An Evening of Aerial & Acrobatic Arts

Golden Heart Performing Arts presents the Seventh Annual Winter Solstice Soirée, an Evening of Aerial & Acrobatic Arts Entertainment. Two showings on Saturday, December 21st at the NEW 8 Star Events Center, 2pm Matinee and 6pm Evening Shows. 

 

The Winter Solstice Soirée is an all ages celebration of the darkest days and the coldest nights of Interior Alaska. Thirty local Artists take flight in this two-hour production. Audience members are feet away from performers creating intense and memorable moments. Ambient lighting, a live disk jockey and vocal musician create a state-of-the-art experience unlike anything Fairbanks has seen before. This year the theme is Elements; the way Earth, Water, Fire and Air connect.

 

Performers have been gaining skill sets and mobility that make each year more astounding. Special Guest, Rae Jamawatr joins Golden Heart Performing Arts as an International Artist in Residence assisting in act creation, story development and progressions of aerial and acrobatic skills.
